The Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for overseeing and advancing the company's quality management and continuous improvement programs. This role ensures that products meet established quality standards and that manufacturing processes are continuously optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. The manager will lead efforts to resolve quality issues, customer concerns, develop and implement quality procedures, and drive ongoing improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in quality management and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
•  strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive change within a manufacturing setting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in quality management software, data analysis tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

1. Quality Management:

• Lead the evaluation of non-conforming parts and resolve quality issues to ensure product consistency with established standards.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures for manufacturing parts, including initial and daily inspections.
• Manage quality training program for employees, covering all phases of quality measurement, including inspection, paint, packaging, and shipment. 

2. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. 
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, and lead improvement projects from initiation through implementation.
• Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of improvement projects, ensuring they deliver measurable results.
