Responsibilities
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate CDL B vehicles, including box trucks, dump trucks, or delivery trucks, to transport goods to various destinations.
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading goods from the truck, ensuring products are properly secured and protected from damage during transit.
- Timely Deliveries: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, delivery receipts, and any incidents during the trip.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, delivering products in good condition and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Compliance: Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant operation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
