We are seeking a talented and experienced Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machining equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce high-precision parts and components for a flow control products. You will work closely with engineers and quality control teams to ensure that all parts meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set Up and Operate Valve Machining Equipment:
  Set up and operate various machine tools such as CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and valve-specific equipment to fabricate, repair, or modify valve components. Ensure proper machine settings to meet engineering specifications.
  
  
• Read and Interpret Valve Drawings and Blueprints:
  Review detailed valve designs, engineering drawings, and schematics to determine precise machining requirements. Work with different types of valves, including gate, globe, ball, and check valves, ensuring all components meet industry standards.
  
  
• Machining Valve Components:
  Perform precision machining operations on valve parts such as bodies, seats, stems, bonnets, and actuators. Produce high-tolerance components to ensure the valve's functionality and leak-tight performance in high-pressure systems.
  
  
• Inspection and Measurement:
  Measure and inspect valve parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to verify dimensions and tolerances. Ensure that parts conform to all quality and safety specifications.
  
  
• Valve Assembly and Testing:
  Assemble valve components, including fittings, seals, and springs, ensuring proper functionality and alignment. Conduct pressure testing and functional testing to verify leak-tight performance and operational integrity of the valve assemblies.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 25lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
