Responsibilities
Process Technician position is accountable for the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing industry that includes but not limited to all wastewater management equipment and components working in a safe and continuous improvement based environment.
Ability to perform mechanical work, valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, lube routes, electrical, electrical controls, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication knowledge of boilers, refrigeration, PLC's, electrical systems, VFD drives, cooling towers, ammonia compressors, process instrumentation and must be versed in troubleshooting industrial equipment.
Perform ongoing sample collection, preparation and analytical laboratory testing
Monitor and manage the system performance to assure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance work: troubleshoot and diagnose problems
Maintain a high degree of cleanliness for the facilities and equipment
Follow technical operating procedures and develop operational improvements
