Responsibilities
- Operating and setting up vertical lathes, including loading and aligning workpieces.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T standards.
- Skilled in using tools like calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges to ensure tight tolerances.
- Familiarity with G-code and M-code for programming and adjusting vertical lathe machines.
- Expertise in selecting, installing, and maintaining cutting tools and inserts for various materials.
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical and programming issues.
- Aerospace experience required
