We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing tests, troubleshooting, and evaluating products to ensure quality and functionality. This position requires a strong understanding of electronics, test equipment, and troubleshooting technique.

Responsibilities

• Check for physical damage, soldering issues, and component placement. Look for burnt components, cracked ICs, or loose connections.
• Measure resistance with a multimeter to ensure it matches the specified value. Check for open circuits (infinite resistance) or short circuits (zero resistance).
• Use an LCR meter to measure capacitance. Check for values significantly different from the rated capacitance. An ESR meter can measure equivalent series resistance to assess capacitor health.
• Test forward and reverse bias with a multimeter’s diode function. 
• Use a multimeter or transistor tester to check the transistor’s junctions for correct behavior. Measure base-emitter and base-collector voltages.
• Use a multimeter to measure voltages at various points in the circuit to ensure they match expected values.
• Use an oscilloscope to analyze signal waveforms and frequencies, ensuring they conform to expected shapes and timings.
•  Power up the circuit and observe its behavior. Verify that the circuit performs its intended function under normal operating conditions.
• Sometimes components might fail under thermal stress. Use a thermal camera or infrared thermometer to check for overheating components.
