Responsibilities
Monitors productivity and quality for loading associates.
Provides feedback to associates
. Ensures supplies needed to load trucks are present and when not acts to correct.
Reports occurrences.
Determines loading priority based on schedules. Logs loading information such as; trailer #, dock door, loaders and scanners.
Reports weekly Repairs and or replaces damaged items scheduled for shipment according to procedures.
Responsible for the Pre-check of staged merchandise / line inspection. Monitors and take corrective action as required.
Performs serial swaps on damaged product. Researches and responds to customer issues as it relates to short shipment, overages, damages and takes corrective action to prevent occurrence of the same issue / problem.
Trains / retrains associates as necessary as it relates to material handling.
Cross trains employees to ensure there is enough manpower to cover seasonal needs and absenteeism.
Provides feedback to temporary agencies regarding performance of their placements.
Holds weekly team meeting to discuss quality, safety and productivity information.
Performs daily department walk throughs.
Makes notes and corrects issues as they arise. Corrects, Logs and reports serial # issues.
