Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Moving parts and machines within the warehouse:
- Primarily pulling machines and major components in the proper configuration to ship and fulfill sales orders
- Schedules freight forwarder for machine deliveries in and out
- Assisting with pulling parts for shipment to fulfill sales orders
- Maintaining proper inventory count and control:
- Logging inventory in and out of ERP system
- Manages twice per year physical inventory count
- Reporting discrepancies to management and accounting
- Maintains a 5S warehouse and parts cage
- Responsible for the safety of personnel and machines when moving heavy machines and parts through warehouse and on and off loading of trucks
- Monitor emails; respond to and/or disperse messages accordingly.
- Responsible for shut down of warehouse – turning lights off and locking all doors
- Responsible for loading and unloading machines onto truck and making sure secured correctly or they are placed correctly within the warehouse
- Responsible for return parts crates and documentation to Germany (RMA process)
- Helps with freight quotes when it is required
- Builds shipping crates from raw lumber for secure transport of our products
- Able to meet tight deadlines for getting parts shipments out to customers
