Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the team meets performance and safety standards.
- Oversee the daily maintenance of conveyors, electrical systems, HVAC, and other facility equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues.
- Create and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to prioritize and address maintenance needs.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and tools; manage procurement as necessary.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Analyze equipment performance data to recommend improvements and optimize system reliability.
- Manage maintenance budget and oversee cost control efforts, including labor, materials, and repairs.
- Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance team members.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
