Responsibilities
- Stocking Shelves: Replenish products on shelves and storage areas to ensure items are readily available for customers or internal use.
- Receiving Shipments: Accept and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring they match the purchase orders in terms of quantity and quality.
- Organizing Inventory: Arrange stock in a neat and organized manner, labeling items clearly and placing them in the correct locations.
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor stock levels and update inventory records to reflect new arrivals, sales, or transfers.
- Rotating Stock: Ensure older stock is placed in front or within easy reach to prevent items from expiring or becoming obsolete.
- Reporting Discrepancies: Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor or purchasing department for resolution.
- Assisting Customers: Help customers locate items
