Responsibilities

• Quality Control & Inspection:
  
  
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards.
  • Perform sensory, chemical, and microbiological tests on products.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, and other food safety regulations.
  • Oversee proper product labeling, including allergen declarations and expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, test results, and audits.
• Process Improvement:
  
  
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop and refine quality control measures.
• Training & Leadership:
  
  
  • Train staff on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety standards, and quality protocols.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Testing & Equipment Management:
  
  
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing.
  • Verify testing methods and procedures for consistency.
• Customer & Supplier Support:
  
  
  • Address customer complaints related to quality and investigate root causes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.
• Safety & Environmental Standards:
  
  
  • Monitor workplace safety and sanitation to prevent contamination.
  • Promote adherence to environmental standards and sustainable practices.
