We are seeking a reliable and responsible CDL-B Driver to transport goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL-B license, have a good driving record, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and customer service. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is able to manage routes, handle deliveries, and follow proper procedures to ensure the secure transport of materials. 

salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle with a CDL-B license, following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring safe handling of goods at each stop.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure its roadworthiness, performing routine maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, oil levels, etc.).
• Deliver products to customers on time and in a professional manner.
• Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules as required by company policy and DOT regulations.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of delivery routes and local road conditions.
• Communicate with dispatchers to report delivery status, traffic issues, or any delays.
• Ensure goods are delivered in good condition, and resolve any issues with customers, if necessary.
• Follow company procedures for handling and reporting accidents, incidents, or delays.
