We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Progressive Tool Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, building, and maintaining progressive dies used in the stamping and metalworking processes. This position involves working closely with engineering and production teams to create high-precision tools and dies that meet quality standards, improve production efficiency, and support ongoing manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

• Tool & Die Fabrication: Design, build, and maintain progressive dies for use in metal stamping, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards. Work with engineers and machinists to develop tools for new and existing products.
  
  
• Tool Modifications & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, modifications, and repairs on progressive dies to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime in production. Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues quickly and efficiently.
  
  
• Blueprint Reading & Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to accurately manufacture, assemble, and repair progressive tools and dies.
  
  
• Precision Machining: Operate precision machining equipment, including CNC machines, surface grinders, lathes, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) to create high-precision tooling components.
  
  
• Tool Design & Optimization: Contribute to the design and development of new tooling solutions that enhance production efficiency, reduce scrap, and ensure product quality. Work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
  
  
• Quality Control & Inspection: Utilize measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) to ensure that tools and dies meet strict tolerances and quality standards. Conduct thorough inspections and adjustments as necessary.
