The Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and optimize production output.  

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
  
  
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform repairs and replace defective parts, such as bearings, seals, belts, and wiring.
  • Adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Preventive Maintenance:
  
  
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Safety Compliance:
  
  
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company standards while working on equipment.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards in the workplace.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  
  
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Report equipment status, issues, and maintenance requirements to supervisors and management.
• Collaboration and Training:
  
  
  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
  • Train production operators on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting techniques.
