The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance, repair, and improvement of equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role involves managing a team of technicians, developing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, controlling costs, and supporting operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Oversight:
  
  
  • Supervise and manage maintenance activities for all equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution of equipment breakdowns and repairs.
• Team Leadership:
  
  
  • Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Schedule and allocate work assignments, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Budget and Resource Management:
  
  
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, controlling expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts, tools, and service contracts.
  • Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and supplies.
• Safety and Compliance:
  
  
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies, OSHA regulations, and other relevant standards.
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards in the workplace.
  • Conduct regular safety training and audits for the maintenance team.
• Process Improvement:
  
  
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and longevity.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements and upgrades.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in maintenance management.
