Responsibilities

• Perform precise soldering on small, delicate components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits (ICs) on printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in military equipment.
• Work on both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components.
• Use specialized equipment like microscopes, hot air rework stations, soldering irons, and tweezers.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning military electronics at the component level, ensuring they meet strict performance standards
• Rework and modify PCBs as necessary to meet design or operational changes.
• Familiarity with military standards like MIL-STD-2000, MIL-PRF-31032, and the IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610).
