Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor/Chief Inspector with expertise in CFM56, CF6, CF-34, and PW4000 engines.
- Inspection Duties:
- Perform preliminary, initial, in-process, and final inspections of components in accordance with manufacturer instructions, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and FAA-approved data.
- Ensure compliance with specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and installations to ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Tools and Techniques:
- Maintain proficiency in inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure inspection tools and equipment are in proper working order and correctly calibrated.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, manuals, and other technical documents to determine specifications, formulas, procedures, and required measuring instruments.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain detailed repair, inspection, investigation, and certification records and reports.
- Ensure Part 121, 125, 129, and 135 customer requirements are met by maintenance personnel.
- Follow work schedules as prescribed by the production team and Inspection Manager.
- Train, assist and supervise technicians
- Stay thoroughly familiar with applicable FAA regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to airworthiness and maintenance compliance.
- Airframe & Powerplant or Repairman Licence
