Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of assembly, charging, testing, and data entry for new life raft cylinders and supervises service activities within the Repair Station and Gas Shop. This includes functional testing, disassembly, parts estimation, repair/overhaul, leak testing, and documentation.
Key responsibilities include monitoring production and repair workflows, ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment, and managing materials and supplies. The role also involves ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment and addressing parts shortages, equipment issues, or process malfunctions.
This is a safety-sensitive position requiring adherence to OEM Component Maintenance Manuals and applicable drawings while performing inspection, repair, overhaul, and assembly tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Follow production plans and schedules, ensuring product quality aligns with company standards and processes.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment using proper protective equipment and materials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to support company growth.
- Ensure personnel and equipment safety during functional tests or other operations involving shop equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability and inspection of inflation systems.
- Collaborate with the Senior Team Lead to meet order schedules and foster positive interdepartmental relationships.
