Responsibilities
Troubleshoots and repairs plastic injection molding machines and robots, including conducting tests and inspections on all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components. Performs safety checks on equipment. Capable to diagnose problems with machine control systems and develop an organized approach to solving machine problems and repairs/replaces parts as required. Communicates on an ongoing basis with supervisor, other departments, and maintenance department technicians to obtain answers to problems encounteredwith equipment.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- standing for 8 hours at one time
