Responsibilities
- s a Maintenance Technician, your role typically involves ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep, and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems within a facility. This position requires a combination of technical skills, troubleshooting expertise, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines and systems, such as HVAC, mechanical equipment, and production machinery and/or facility.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components.
- Collaborate with engineers or vendors for complex equipment upgrades or retrofits.
- Monitor and adjust machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Calibrate tools and machinery to maintain production standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain records for audits.
- understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Blueprint and schematic reading skills.
