We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler / Forklift Operators to join a distribution company in Medford, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a sit-down propane forklift to move materials, load and unload trucks, organize inventory, and ensure smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift to move, stack, and organize materials in the warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas.
• Material Handling: Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are properly secured to avoid damage during transit.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by properly storing and retrieving items as needed.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare materials for shipment or production by picking, organizing, and staging items according to order specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and company policies while operating the forklift and handling materials.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift checks on the forklift and other material handling equipment, reporting any issues or needed repairs to management.
• Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards. Ensure aisles and workspaces are clear and accessible.
