Responsibilities
- Conducting regular inspections of hydraulic systems to check for leaks, wear, corrosion, or other issues that may affect performance.
- Replacing hydraulic fluids and filters to maintain system efficiency and prevent contamination that could damage the equipment.
- Performing routine preventive maintenance, such as checking pressures, adjusting controls, lubricating moving parts, and testing safety features.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and alternators
- Installing and assembling hydraulic components such as pumps, cylinders, hoses, filters, valves, and reservoirs according to specifications.
- Ensuring hydraulic systems are properly connected to other machinery or equipment, following both manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and exhaust systems
