Responsibilities
· Change seals on different types of pumps
· Calibrates thermocouples and other electrical devices
· Anticipate mechanical problems with rotating equipment and take appropriate action
· Perform routine maintenance on glass-lined vessels.
· Welds, threads, and installs pipe up to 3 inches in diameter
· Installs motors and control circuits up to 480V
· Maintains plant rolling stock
· Operates machine tools
· Troubleshoot boiler and compressor problems.
· Completes work orders accurately.
· Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
· Handles hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
