We ahve a great opportunity for a Electrical Test Operator in Santa Clara!  Electrical testing verifies that the printed networks on the boards are interconnected according to the design requirements. Electrical testing of unpopulated PCB’s ensures that the board conforms to the electrical design requirements. The electrical test operator will be responsible for testing each individual part, by various testing equipment, and certifying compliance to requirements. Rework and repair bare boards are an integral part of the testing responsibilities. Operators are expected to be proficient in the equipment used for this purpose as well as a variety of testing machines.

Responsibilities

• Receive boards from multiple areas. Check job jacket for job identification, customer requirements, board count and revision. 
• Test boards and stamp per customer requirement. Perform debug and fault isolation/verification.
• Notify appropriate departments of problems.
• Communicate with other shifts. 
• Construction of test fixtures, fixture setup and programming of test equivalent. Troubleshoot when necessary. 
• When practical rework fault and retest reworked parts. 
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment test area.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Report equipment malfunction to supervisor. 
• Keep daily production log, scrap reports, job discrepancy reports, certificate of compliance log and any data collection necessary for process control. 
• Attend Quality/SPC courses and assist Quality Project teams when asked.
