Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems on heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including inspection of hoses, pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders.
- Test and adjust hydraulic systems for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and determine solutions.
- Replace worn or defective parts, ensuring all components are up to standard.
- Assist in the installation and setup of hydraulic systems on new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs.
- Work closely with other technicians and engineers to address any complex mechanical issues.
