Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of building infrastructure, including carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical work.
- Plan, schedule, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding facility and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service history, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Lead and train the maintenance team, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the operations and production teams to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of manufacturing equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues before they affect operations.
