Responsibilities
- Schedule drivers for freight deliveries and pickups efficiently.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment details, delivery times, and special handling requests.
- Plan and adjust routes to accommodate changes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare and manage dispatch documents, freight bills, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatched calls, routes, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor compliance with transportation regulations and driver logs.
- Oversee truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Address customer shipping schedules and resolve complaints professionally.
