Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join the team. Responsibilities
- Welding and Fabrication:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, stick, or arc welding.
- Assemble and weld metal components according to blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.
- Fabricate and repair metal structures, parts, and equipment.
- Preparation and Setup:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Measure and mark material dimensions for cutting or shaping.
- Operate cutting tools, grinders, and other equipment to prepare materials for welding.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect welds and metal components for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Perform tests to ensure the strength and quality of welds.
- Address defects or rework welds to meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the welding environment.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Inspect, clean, and maintain welding tools and equipment regularly.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues or report major repairs.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to complete projects.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, or changes effectively.
