- Team Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production goals.
- Monitor and improve the performance of team members through feedback, coaching, and addressing performance issues.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
- Production Planning and Coordination:
- Coordinate production schedules and ensure that materials, equipment, and staff are available to meet daily production targets.
- Work with the production manager to adjust schedules based on demand or changes in project requirements.
- Ensure the smooth handover between shifts and resolve any production issues that may arise.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards by performing regular inspections and audits.
- Address quality issues immediately and take corrective actions to minimize defects or delays.
- Implement quality control procedures and best practices on the production line.
- Equipment and Resource Management:
- Ensure that production equipment is properly maintained and used in accordance with safety standards.
- Coordinate routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime and ensure productivity.
- Monitor the usage of raw materials and supplies, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively.
