The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control within the organization. This role requires a great understanding of quality systems, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies. The Quality Manager will lead and mentor a team of quality professionals to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. 

salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Quality System Management:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective quality management system (QMS) that meets industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Conduct internal audits and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Quality Control:
  • Oversee all quality control activities, including incoming inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
  • Implement and monitor statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans for new products and processes.
• Customer Satisfaction:
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Build and maintain great relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, including inspectors, technicians, and engineers.
  • Hire, train, and develop quality personnel.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
