• 3+ years of CNC Set-up + Operation 
• Basic programing knowledge
• Understand Blueprints + GD&T

salary: $50,000 - $62,400 per year

Responsibilities

• Operating and setting up
  
  *Okuma Vertical Machining Center
  
  *Lagun Mills with Acu-Rite PWR Control
  
  Simple programming at the machine control
  Managing close manufacturing tolerances (.0001-.0005””)
  Trouble-shoot machine issues
  Understanding tooling
  Knowing proper feeds and speeds
  Ensuring machines are properly maintained
  Following safe practices and housekeeping instructions for the department
  Reporting work performed and maintaining proper documentation
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 7 hrs of overtime per week

CNC vertical milling

Understanding G and M codes

good work history

strong mechanical aptitude
