Responsibilities
- System Installation:
- Install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Diagnostics and Repairs:
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
- System Testing:
- Test HVAC systems for proper operation, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to measure system performance.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and parts replaced.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
- Customer Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- System Upgrades:
- Recommend energy-efficient upgrades or replacements to improve system performance and reduce costs.
- Emergency Repairs:
- Respond to urgent service calls and perform timely repairs to restore system operation.
