Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Clerk to join their team. This position is responsible for managing inventory across three distinct environments: dry, cooler, and freezer. In addition to inventory management, the selected candidate will serve as a Will-Call Clerk every other Saturday. Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a similar environment (dry, cooler, freezer).
• strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (dry, cooler, and freezer environments).
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and cycle count processes.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Customer service skills for Will-Call clerk duties on Saturdays.
• strong problem-solving skills, especially in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

salary: $19 - $19.01 per hour

work hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts in dry, cooler, and freezer environments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain records of quantity, type, and value of materials, merchandise, and supplies.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in counts, including research into root causes.
• Conduct quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items in coordination with Merchandising.
• Investigate weight variances, receiving, put-away, and product damage issues.
• Ensure proper FIFO (First-in, First-out) rotation and inventory integrity.
• Confirm reserve inventory accuracy and count each reserve pallet.
• Verify the put-away and transfer processes done by day and night personnel.
• Initiate product transfers from cooler to freezer, documenting the process.
• Review management reports and research inventory shrink causes.
• Assist with product recalls and support corrective actions.
• Serve as Will-Call Clerk every other Saturday, coordinating customer orders.
