Responsibilities
- Perform soldering and de-soldering of components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic assemblies.
- Assemble, inspect, and test electronic products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Use tools such as soldering irons, tweezers, magnifiers, and microscopes to complete tasks.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects or issues in electronic components and repair them accordingly.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Adhere to company and industry standards for safety and quality, including IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 (if applicable).
- Document work performed, including test results, repairs, and assembly details.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.
