Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate tools, inserts, and machine parameters for each job.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathe machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
