Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor slitter machines to cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Measure and inspect finished products for quality, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Perform machine adjustments to maintain precision and minimize waste.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly to prevent downtime.
- Maintain and organize tools, materials, and workstations for efficient operation.
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
- Record production data and report discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
