Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts or other industrial vehicles to load, unload, and move materials or products.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility or to/from loading docks.
- Stack and organize materials properly to maintain inventory and workspace organization.
- Perform basic maintenance checks on forklifts, including fueling and recharging batteries as needed.
- Adhere to all safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by recording material movements and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to fulfill production and delivery schedules.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
