We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the construction and concrete industry. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, cranes, and other specialized machinery. Your duties will include diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and calibrating equipment to ensure precise operation. You will also manage spare parts inventory, maintain detailed service logs, and collaborate with construction teams to minimize downtime and support overall productivity. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of construction safety protocols, technical expertise in equipment repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $52,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Inspect Heavy Equipment – Regularly inspect concrete mixers, cranes, and other construction machinery for wear or damage.
• Repair Construction Tools – Troubleshoot and repair tools like jackhammers, saws, and drills to ensure proper functionality.
• Preventative Maintenance – Replace hydraulic hoses, lubricate components, and service engines for equipment longevity.
• Install and Assemble Equipment – Set up concrete forms, mixers, and other machinery at job sites.
• Ensure Site Safety – Perform maintenance tasks in compliance with construction site safety standards and regulations.
• Calibrate Machinery – Adjust concrete batching plants and other equipment to ensure precise mixing ratios.
• Manage Parts Inventory – Stock and organize replacement parts, such as blades, belts, and filters, for quick repairs.
• Support Construction Teams – Work closely with foremen and operators to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
