We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. This role will support our aerospace operations and ensure that all products meet or exceed the AS9100 standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control within the aerospace industry, a solid understanding of SolidWorks, and a passion for upholding high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, tests, and evaluations on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and design teams to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Use SolidWorks for interpreting 3D models, reviewing technical drawings, and assisting with quality checks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and calibration records.
- Identify potential risks and defects during production processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support internal and external audits related to AS9100 and quality assurance standards.
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Technician in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with AS9100 quality management system.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or other CAD software for reviewing designs and conducting measurements.
- Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and other quality inspection tools.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify root causes of defects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
