We are seeking motivated and reliable Production Laborers to join our team at a recycling facility in Elizabethton, TN. This role involves assisting with the sorting, processing, and handling of recyclable materials to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Steel-toe shoes are required for this position.

salary: $16 - $16.01 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment used for processing recyclable materials.
• Sort, clean, and organize recyclables by material type (e.g., plastics, metals, paper).
• Load and unload materials from trucks or conveyor belts.
• Perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area by removing debris and disposing of non-recyclable waste.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes.
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and report issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with general maintenance and other tasks as needed.
