salary: $28 - $30 per hour

work hours: 4 AM - 2 AM

Responsibilities

• In partnership with Human Resources, accomplish warehouse objectives by assisting in the selection and interviewing of new staff; providing orientation and onboarding for new hires; training employees of new duties; assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, administering disciplinary actions, and communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, conducting performance evaluations, facilitating salary increases and enforcing company policies and procedures
• Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing to strategic plans and reviews related to productivity, quality, and customer service standards
• Identify and recommend warehouse system improvements for efficiency
• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles and recommends improvements
• Secure warehouse by setting the alarm and testing systems
• Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns requiring preventive maintenance and reporting needed repairs to Warehouse Manager and/or Branch Manager
• Establish and adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as required by production schedules and workflow
• Interpret company policies to employees and enforces safety regulations.
• Recommend measures to improve quality of service in areas that need improvement
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and by reading technical publications
