Responsibilities
- Senior Warehouse Operations Manager, Night Shift Needed
- Distribution/Warehouse Operations: Knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse flow (not limited to manufacturing).
- Warehouse Size: 150k+ square feet.
- Team Size: Experience managing 40-50 employees.
- Night Shift Management: Previous career experience managing night shift operations.
- PI Management: Ability to track, analyze, and improve operational performance metrics.
- Examples: Measures, goals, and results achieved in previous roles.
- Lean Methodology: Familiarity with Lean principles—able to describe past experience and understanding of the concept.
- Budget Oversight: Skilled in managing costs, labor, and productivity within budget constraints.
- Advanced with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in leading distribution teams preferably on night shift.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Data Analysis: Skilled in interpreting operational data to make informed decisions.
- Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement knowledge.
