Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot systems to determine required repairs, including dismantling, replacing, and adjusting machinery and equipment as needed.
- Perform root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of maintenance issues.
- Implement Continuous Improvement principles to modify machinery and equipment, improving operational efficiency and performance.
- Perform general electronic maintenance, machine repair, and plumbing duties, as necessary.
- Maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of production equipment, from basic hydraulic equipment to CNC machinery. This includes electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work across all equipment.
- Perform grounds and building general maintenance tasks such as painting and carpentry duties.
- Troubleshoot and repair powered roller conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance mechanics to anticipate and source required equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Lift and carry products and/or equipment up to 40 pounds.
- High School diploma and/or Trade School graduate, or equivalent training and experience.
- Must have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various production equipment and control systems.
- Basic computer skills are required for maintenance record-keeping and equipment diagnostics.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English.
- Experience working with electrical systems (24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC), safety circuits, photo eyes, motor control circuits, and VFD controllers.
- Experience with powered roller conveyor systems and hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential.
- PLC experience is a plus (programming not required).

Responsibilities

- Perform root cause failure analysis to eliminate repeat occurrences on maintenance issues.
- Devises methods of altering machinery and equipment to improve operating characteristics within the principles of Continuous Improvement. May perform electronic maintenance, machine repair, and plumbing duties
- Maintain, repair and preventive maintenance of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to CNC machinery, performing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work of all equipment on site.
- Performs grounds and buildings general maintenance, painting, or performing carpentry duties on an as necessary basis.
- maintenance assignments may require skills in carpentry, plumbing, and repair of machinery, mechanical equipment, electrical circuits, and appliances.
- Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to work extended hours and Saturdays as business needs arise
- Follow company and OSHA safety policies & procedures.
- Work closely with other maintenance mechanics to anticipate needed equipment, parts, and supplies.
