Job Description:
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all production equipment
- Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and performing timely repairs
- Conducting planned maintenance and addressing unscheduled downtime
- Providing training and support to new team members
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions
- Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Adhering to all safety and food safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE
- strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience with PLC systems and hot melt glue systems (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment. Respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Technical Skills: Operate power and hand tools, read technical documents, set up and adjust equipment, and use precision measuring instruments.
- Physical Demands: Lift up to 50 lbs, work in various positions, wear PPE, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify equipment problems, determine repairs, source parts, and consult with OEM support.
- Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to safety and GMP procedures, understand HACCP, monitor preventive measures, maintain hygiene, and conduct quality checks.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with team members, provide training, communicate effectively, and contribute to process improvement.
