We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Room Machinist to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in machining and be proficient in operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The Tool Room Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines, as well as performing manual machining tasks. Responsibilities

The Tool Room Machinist will set-up and operate Tool Room Equipment used for producing and building tools for products in sheet metal spin and deep draw forming

 

Qualifications:

• + 2 Years of Experience in the related Manufacturing Environment
• Preferred Technical / Trade School Education and/or Journeyman’s Card preferred but not needed
• Tool Room Equipment set-up and run proficiently (i.e.: manual lathe, mill, surface grinders, etc.)
• Proficiency in Reading Mechanical Drawings and Understanding G.D.& T
• Measuring with Micrometers, Calipers, and other Q.C. Equipment
• CNC Knowledge preferred by not required Excellent Communication Skills in English, both verbal and written

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 40lbs
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
