Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Bridgeport Manual Vertical Mill machine to perform various machining operations such as drilling, milling, boring, and tapping.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices for each job.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure workpieces meet dimensional and quality specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the milling machine to ensure optimal performance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize work orders and meet production deadlines.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
