The Container Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on front, rear, and roll-off containers, ensuring they meet company standards for functionality and safety. Key responsibilities include welding steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC equipment, fabricating steel parts using brakes, shears, and cutting tools such as plasma cutters or torches. The role involves installing lids, wheels, and decals on containers, as well as painting repaired units. Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is essential.

The technician completes required paperwork accurately and refers more complex repairs to the Supervisor. Additional tasks include fabricating steel components for hoppers, containers, and compactors, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on front, rear and roll-off containers

• Install company and safety decals in accordance with company standard diagram on containers and roll-off boxes.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Refer more complex repairs to the Supervisor.
