Responsibilities
- Soldering Components: Properly soldering electrical components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) or other mechanical assemblies. This includes ensuring a reliable connection while adhering to safety standards.
- Assembly of Electro-Mechanical Systems: Assembling a variety of electro-mechanical systems, such as control panels, machinery, or devices, by following detailed engineering drawings, schematics, or instructions.
- Testing and Inspection: Testing assembled products for functionality and quality. This could include using testing equipment to verify that the soldered connections, electrical components, and mechanical parts are operating as intended.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing problems in the assemblies, including faulty solder joints, misconnected parts, or other mechanical/electrical issues, and making necessary repairs.
- Ensuring Quality Control: Following standard procedures for quality control to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. This includes inspecting solder joints for any defects such as cold solder joints or bridging.
- Tool Handling: Using various tools, such as soldering irons, multimeters, wire cutters, pliers, and other specialized equipment, safely and effectively.
