Position Summary: In this role, you will inspect and test OEM products and purchased parts used in assembly. You will utilize precision measuring tools, troubleshoot quality issues, and collaborate with teams to meet quality standards. You’ll also contribute to product assurance and assist in maintaining quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test OEM and purchased parts to standards.
- Determine inspection methods and ensure accuracy.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections.
- Analyze and address rejected materials with teams for resolution.
- Maintain quality inventory and track accuracy.
- Conduct daily/monthly cycle counts and provide reports.
- Resolve customer product issues, such as incomplete kits or incorrect shipments.
- Support quality management in achieving department goals.
- Comply with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year technical degree preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience in Quality Control, Assurance, or Inspection.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with SAP or ERP systems, MS Office; intermediate blueprint reading.
- Ability to pass required background checks, clearances, and drug tests.

Responsibilities
Inspects and tests OEM and purchased parts per established standards. Determines methods and sequences for inspection processes. Conducts visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections using precision measuring devices. Decides on the acceptance or rejection of parts. Analyzes rejected materials, coordinates with purchasing, manufacturing, and quality engineers for disposition, and handles vendor-caused defects. Provides stock sorts and purges as needed. Analyzes inventory, prepares reports on Quality inventory locations, and resolves inaccuracies and aging inventory. Administers cycle counts for Quality and prepares accuracy reports. Maintains analysis databases and documents, ensuring ISO compliance and accuracy. Updates the Department Notebook. Delivers reports to communicate department status. Supports external customers to quickly resolve delivered product issues, minimizing downtime. Performs special assignments as directed by quality management. Interfaces with management to meet department goals. Complies with laws, regulations, and company values, staying current on regulatory and technical responsibilities, including Sarbanes-Oxley.
