Join our family-owned business with a friendly work environment! We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment/ Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and customizations on municipal and refuse equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on municipal equipment.
- Diagnose, adjust, and repair heavy-duty components.
- Install and coordinate custom equipment on new and used trash trucks, sewer trucks and municiple equipment (training provided).
- Conduct DOT inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanic experience (required).
- Experience in heavy equipment, hydraulics, and electrical systems is a plus.
- Welding experience is a advantage.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Own general tools and have the ability to expand your skill set.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and learn.
